About Me

That's me looking pretty snazzy and neon!Hello there! My name is Leila Fouda. I am 28 years old and a marine mammalogist and conservation scientist. I am lucky enough to be able to travel to far flung and beautiful places for my job and I love it. I did my undergraduate degree in marine biology at the University of St Andrews and my masters degree in conservation science as Imperial College London. I hope to continue my studies with a PhD in marine mammal sciences, furthering our understanding of these amazing animals and filling in important knowledge gaps.

I love what I do and hope to be able to share that love and my life as a marine mammalogist with you. Sharing both the joys and struggles as I start out in this most magnificent of careers.

    • Hi Nick,

Thanks for the comment. I am in the process of intense trans-Pacific and trans-continent travel at the moment but will email you once I am more settled this weekend!

      Best,
