I have become a keen photographer during my time doing field work in places of stunning natural beauty and my bonny university town of St Andrews, in Scotland. I started out with a humble pink Sony point and shoot and have migrated through several small cameras of various incarnations that have died through sand and salt abuse.
I now shoot most of my nature and scenery images using a Nikon D90. However I frequently use my iPhone 7 to snap images when I am out and about with out my DSLR to hand, it is super handy and the quality has come along in leaps and bounds over the last few years. Linked to this is a little bit of a love for Instagram and Instagram photos. Be sure to check out my feed on the right!
All marine mammal photos taken under the appropriate permits and permissions.
